Shelby just announced details for the 2011 Super Snake. It now comes with up to 800 horsepower and different wheel and stripe options:

I certainly hope they've done something to help get the power down. The 500-550hp cars had difficulty hookin up, more power only = increased difficulty unless addressed at the suspension level.

Doesn't seem to make a lot of sense to add a few hundred more ponies does it?

Shelby will make up to 1000 of them for '11, they only are making 5500 '11 GT500's, i find it hard to beleive that 1000 people of that 5500 will for up another 30 grand to do this.

Anyone know how many of each year have been made?

I would hope for all that money there is more than an upgraded supercharger and some nice rims, badges on the car.

And this car will get it's doors blown off by everything just like the last one for the exact reason Chris mentioned
HP is useless and stupid if you can't make it hook up.

I thought Shebly was getting out of the car making biz and doing just rebranded parts now.

(Edit: Sorry Lane not Chris stalked about puting the power down)

I love Shelby's, but seriously what is the point in the HP if it won't connect.
