You have to look really close but I am pretty sure it has it.

Adrian, did your mom make that delicious looking pineapple "renversé" cake ! it's so tempting.

IMO, that convertible lettering doesn't have it's place there.

The added demarcation is the result of extensive demographic testing.

The testing revealed this text is helpful to the owners of those vehicles.

Please post a picture of your key. Is it marked w/ "KEY"?

Hey, I'd hope at least 50% of Mustang owners know that their cars are RWD...as opposed to 80% of BMW 1-Series owners who think their cars are FWD!

I was wondering if anyone else had noticed this detail as well. In fact, I took a pic the other day to start a thread like this. It is very odd to have convertible spelled out on a car that clearly is one. It is only on the V6s, not the V8s.

Maybe it is there to tell someone the top you see is NOT one of those vinyl things that some 80-year-olds have on their old GM sedans

I was just thinking...was there a badge like this back in the early years? Seems like a very late-60s thing to do...

Next up: Ford puts "Aluminum" on all aluminum wheels and embroiders "Leather" into the leather seats.

In other news, Ford announced today that Captain Obvious has been hired to lead up design for the 2014 Mustang.

In other other news, Ford has recalled Captain Obvious to have additional labelling on his chest saying "CAPTAIN OBVIOUS." He is now slated to lead the design team on the 2015 Mustang instead.

OK, mock the badge if you like - someday it may be a rare collectible!

Ha! That reminds me of the days when cars would have badges on the back that said things like "Fuel Injected" or "Automatic Transmission"

I want to put that badge on my non-convertible to throw people off and see if they pay attention to details!
