2011 Mustang gets expanded graphics package by end of July

If graphics are your thing, new packages will supposedly be available for the 2011 Mustang by the end of July, and by the end of the summer for the rest of the company's lineup.

Here's the address to their new graphics website:

Hopefully they keep them a bit more tasteful than the Fiesta graphics. Yuck.

If they stick to classic stripes and blackout patterns, or more modern variations, it might be cool. I'd be interested to see what they offer.

THere are two Mustang pictures on that site ... one with an off center over the hood stripe ... and one with flames on the side .... both look corny

The f150 flames are much better than the blue flames in the mustang shot.

The 80's jokes NEVER get old! Only those of us who grew up then.

Those yellow flames need a black outline.

The offset stripe looks ok. IMO, flames look weird on anything built after 1959.

When I attended a Mustang owner's focus group they brought this up. I'm not crazy about them but the ability to really customize your vehicle "from the factory" (even if it's applied by the dealer) will appeal to certain people.

LOL. Jokes (and graphics/stripes) were about all the excitement we had with cars back then (re 115HP 4.2L/255 V8 '80 Mustang, or the 157HP 5.0L in V8 1982 Mustang GT ...). Remember the '79/'80 Cobra hood graphics? Or even the screaming chicken graphics of the 1980 (and earlier) Firebird Trans Am? Gawd ...

You read my mind. I don't see any reason why they couldn't print out full sheets of matte black!
