2011 Mustang CRAZY color choice

So it's no big secret that you can get Kona Blue with the Brick red interior and I'm actually thinking about doing it. It'll be somewhat unique and describe my personality perfectly. Crazy!

What are some of your thoughts on this?

Kona with the brick interior would actually be okay... I recently saw an BMW 3 series custom ordered to have a similar combo and it looked pretty stylish and much better than one would expect.

How about yellow blaze with the brick red interior?

I've seen yellow and Red lol. Definitely not for me, but then I try to avoid bright colors in general. My current 05 GT is redfire I really do like that color but I'm thinking the contrast between the blue and red would be alright.

Topnotch- you found the exact pic of the BMW 3 series that I was thinking of! Sometimes the internets is a small place.

I forgot about the polo shirt wearing dork in the passenger seat.

It really doesn't look that bad to me IMO. But I also think that the exterior color should be whatever with the interior since it's not like you can see much of the outside from the inside anyway.

the point I was making with the Fox bodies is, it might be "in" now but in 5-10 years time, not so much.

Remember brown cars from the 1970's?!?!??!?!

Well, in 10 years somebody might say the same about Grabber Blue.

At this point you might as well go all out. Get some white stripes on the interior and put about 50 five-pointed stars on the exterior and you'll be all set for this weekend!

Okay, in all seriousness, not really my style. It stands out, and I guess it doesn't look horrible, just not for me.

Sir, that's no 1970's Boss Mustang.

(I think I heard something like that in a presidential debate... I don't really mean anything by it.)

I ordered GB too, just giving you a... .

I think sterling gray with the brick red interior would look awesome.

I think Kona Blue is dark enough that the red upholstery would look pretty good. It's not a conventional combination but that doesn't make it wrong. Yellow Blaze with red . . . pardon me while I gag.

Yellow Blaze is only available with Black 400A or Black/Cashmere 401A.

I say go for the Kona/Brick Red. It's a very patriotic color combo and will definitely be very rare.

That's my thoughts exactly when I saw Kona in person and I'm thinking it over now. I prefer a darker color outside and a brighter inside would be a good contrast I think.

Would look even better with the Glass Roof. Just don't ruin it with any of the Accessory packages. Keep it understated. Let the color combo speak for itself. I would get Kona/Brick Red 401A, Glass Roof, Brembo/Electronics/Comfort/Security Packages and Backup Cam and call it a day!
