I was also at the Track Day at DPG... here is the only picture I managed to get before we got into the proving grounds.

Overall the Track Day Ford put on was A LOT of fun! I went home sunburnt & exhausted. The drivers Ford had there really gave the cars hell all day long. Just about every time they started with a new passenger, the tires were smoked, and the car was driven to the limit. The AutoX and Drag race setups were a lot more fun than we originally thought they were going to be (every car was an auto). Stinger and I even hot-lapped the Ecoboost Flex's on the drag racing area toward the end of the day when nobody was in line. I would encourage anyone planning on going to Mustang Alley next year, to get on the mailing list so they can register for this and enjoy the day as much as we did.

We called this car the 'Angry Dragon'

Yeah, then when my father and I got in, we almost barreled through the cones from the lack of brakes. Woops.

We really needed a GoPro on that Edge Sport when we hooned it. That would have been some great footage.

Hey...question.
Anyone hear the car that sounded like a horse?
The red clamshell hood?

Was that from a speaker or a set of valves...
that **** was just plain strange! but I laughed everytime I heard it.

If you're talking about what I think you're talking I saw a red late 60's convertible Mustang on the Friday night that had a massive horses tail coming out of the trunk playing horse sounds and click clack click clack sounds of a horses feet. Funny as hell, and it was perfect because the speed of the click clack's went with the 5-10 mph speed the car was doing down Woodward.

Hey Shaun,
Sorry I missed the party. I was planning on dropping my wife off at the hotel and then head to the party, but the plan just didn't work out.

I learned a very important lesson about cruising Woodward. Don't get caught on the wrong side of the road when they close down the strip. They kept pushing us west and my hotel was east of Woodward. I didn't know the area very well and by the time I got to the hotel, I was pissed off and tired.

I still don't understand why they try to close everything down at 10pm.
