No problems here. Will they give you crap if your car was built after that date and had the problem, like in M4A1's case?

Who knows, but it's probably worth going in and finding out. At the very least they open a service case on your VIN which might help with Ford expanding the TSB...

If the issue is there, they should fix it regardless.

It doesn't look like an expensive fix.

The assembly itself is around $170 from a dealer from what I understand.

I wonder how many labor hours they charge? Probably 1.5-2 hours.

Honestly, if they didn't decide to fix it under warranty I'd just pay it out of pocket because this issue is super annoying.

Wow, I'm an idiot. Just noticed on the TSB... .8hr job.

So less than $300 for the fix if you end up having to pay for it yourself. Not that bad.

Steve, if your dealer you're using now isn't taking care of it, go to another dealer, or get ahold of Ford CS and express your complaint. Don't settle for them avoiding the issue if it's clearly there.

Oh, if my dealer doesn't help me I'll definitely take it somewhere else or file a complaint, but if it comes to the point where it's too much of a hassle to fight back and forth, the fix isn't that bad of a hit to pay for myself especially considering the benefits a quick shift. The sticking pedal kills me any time I want to go!

One other suggestion I have is to record the incident happening and take that with you to the dealer. It might be a bit difficult doing by yourself, but if you have someone that can hold the cam for you, I'd do that.

The TSB states .08hr for replacement of pedal assembly.

Indeed. But it would be awesome if they could fix it in 5 minutes.

I bet if you get to do enough of them, you'll eventually get it down to 5 minutes. I can replace an alternator on a gen 2 SHO in 12.
