Tires

if it's like the 2010's it's the 18inch wide spoke that is standard, 19's are more......I ordered my 2011 with the bright machined (64x) 19 inch wheels...

Not according to the order guide. Unless I'm reading it wrong: 18" stock, choice of two different 19" wheels as a $995 option. Also, a $495 option on the GT Premium are the polished 18" from the V6 Pony Package.

18" wheels that Bob showed above are standard on 2011 GT's (base or Premium).

Those brembo wheels are so awesome looking. Anyone know of a cheap way to swap a set of 2010 64x rims & tires for these brembo pkg ones? Yeah, probably not likely.

When are you planning to purchase? Send me a PM with what kind of money you'd like for 'em. Since I'm in metro Detroit also it hopefully could be a very simple in-person kind of deal.

No way man that was directed at me! Stay away from my action . Besides it'll be easier for him to deal with me since were both in Dey-twah .

2011 Shelby Order Guide

When is this going to be released and will the GT500 appear in dealerships at the same time as the other 2011's?

On another thread it lists a 20" wheel in the Ford Catalog. It says that it will not fit cars with the Brembo brake package. Is it possible that the standard 19" GT wheel will also not be compatable with the Brembo package? I also do not like the wheels that come with the package and while I have not decided on whether to buy a 2010 GT (Great buys, and I am a long time 4.6 fan) a 2011 GT or saying Why the Hell Not and ordering the Shelby I would like to know Thanks

Heck, get the grinder out, it is just a matter of a little bit of caliper clearance...

Before you guy decide on 19 in wheels you might check on tire costs first. I just ordered a 2011 while I am overseas. What I could find is that tires were in the 250 to 300 dollar range. I choice to stay with the 18 in wheels.

I haven't had any problems finding tires for the 19" brembo brake tire sizes for under 200, and that's even with larger rubber than comes from factory 245 front and 275 rear. That's how much the pzero nero's cost 175/190 and that's the oem tire.
