2011 Auto Trans slow to engage when cold

Trans doesn't seem to engage quickly when cold/first start of the day.

Have you been able to address this with your Ford Dealer, Book?

Thank you for your response. I have not made any contact with the dealer as of yet. I've only had the car for two weeks and became aware of this problem. After a little research I have realized that there is an on going problem. I'm wanting to know if there is a for sure resolution to this problem. Has Ford recognized the problem and offered a service bulletin/call back?

You’re welcome, Book. Even though it may seem the same, not all concerns may be caused by the same thing. This is why your vehicle must be fully diagnosed and the concern duplicated in order for your Ford Dealership to attempt any repairs on it. With the diagnosis, they can look up any TSBs, SMS, etc. that may apply to your vehicle.

You can make an appointment with them on here. Also, remember most paid repairs done at a Ford Dealer come with a 24 months/unlimited miles warranty.

Mine does that if it's really cold, like below 20 degrees. I don't know exactly what yours does but it's b/c its so cold I would think

My 11 did that right before I traded it in. I imagine a selinoid is going out.
