2011 for incentives, the 2012 might have a few more bugs worked out of the car though.

That's why I'm waiting - I've read enough threads about ticking noises, clutch problems, grinding gears, etc. - Maybe Ford can figure out what's going on and fix them all.

You're always going to see more posts about problems than no problems. The people with problem free cars are out enjoying them.

If the new options arent an issue then buy a 2011 and save some money. As for bugs all cars have bugs If they didnt we wouldnt need service departments and warranties. Good luck on your purchase.

The big $$$ stuff will be corrected but some issues may never get fixed.

Like on the '05-'09 cars:

Hood corrosion
1-2 shift issues when cold
Trans plate buzz (still does it on my '08)
Exhaust heat shield rattle.

etc, etc.

Granted, there are TSBs but still issues exist.

I ordered a 12 but seriously considering the 11 because of incentives and my 750 coupon.

They're finally putting in lighted visors/Homelink?!?! Frak!! I'd love Homelink again.

Wonder if there'll be a way (like order-able Ford part) to upgrade the '11 visors to this.

I've heard the '11s are pre-wired for the visors, but can't confirm this. I'd also like to get part numbers for the visors with Homelink so we can start investigating this further.

I'm with you. Not a huge gripe, but it would have been nice.
