2010 Visor Check

I have owned my 2010 since october and just the other day noticed the visor mirror cover is the shape of the power dome hood. Kinda cool just wondering how many other 2010 owners noticed this and how long it took them to notice. Weather just started to warm up so until now I never even pulled em down.

When I looked at a 2010, I thought it was the one part of the car that looked overly girly ("oh, I just won't show anyone that part" *muffled under my breath while putting visor back up*). However, your observation helps make it less blush-worthy.

Not sure if they are the same way in the 2011's...will find out before long.

Sorry to differ on it, I saw this in a 2011 V6 the other day and thought it looked cheap and crappy. Could be that it was a rental, but no lights and cheap plastic, I put it as a negative. The fact that it is like the power dome hood does help, just a little bit.

Honestly I think it's pretty cheesy. It doesn't help that the visors are pieces of crap and pop out far too easily. Ah well, visors never were the make-or-break point of a car for me.

Same. Wasn't too impressed by the visor either, though I hadn't noticed the hood shape about it before. I almost never use it anyway, so no big deal.

The visor doesn't make the car go, stop or turn, so I'm not gona worry about it.

I personally loved this little easter egg about the mustang. Just another one of those things that give it charm and make it different from all other cars

I didn't notice the Running Pony on the windshield until after having my Mustang for a couple weeks LOL!!! I like the fact that the only word 'Mustang' on the whole car is on the door sills, unless i am missing one.

Ford does the model/logo on the windshield on almost all of them. My dad's Super Duty has that as well. Don't know about their '10 Fusion though.

They do have some well placed Mustang stuff. What I hate, though, are stripes on the side that say "Mustang," windshield banners that say "Mustang," or giant ponies on the back windshield.

It's like, "Guess what, everybody??! I'm driving a MUSTANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The worst offenders of this are the Grand Prix owners.

Yeah, my '04 Mustang had the running pony at the top of the windshield as well, practically identical to the one on my '11.

Truth, but sometimes the Mustang can be a close second.

I even saw a giant 5.0 windshield banner on a 94-95 once.

Re: Visor - I noticed that the visor lid had an interesting shape, but never made the connection that it is shaped like the hood. Looking at it today, I think it's cool Ford added that little touch on something you don't even normally see. Good observation.

So does the 2011 visor have a light or not? I've never seen a pic... but heard it does? And from other postings that it doesn't...

If it does, any pics would be sweet.
