Does anyone know if I get the 2010 mustang sport leather steering wheel (w/music/volume functions etc..) and replace it with my base stock steering wheel.. will it be able to function with my 2010 mustang base model?..please let me know. THANKS!

 

The cruise control function will work, and the button backlights will work as the wiring harness is the same for all models,,, However, the steering wheel radio control buttons will not control the radio as the base audio control unit (as Ford doesn't call it a radio),, isn't wired for the remote control buttons,, nor the SYNC as you don't have it either ..

That may not be entirely accurate (Independence Day anyone? :P). The 2012 Boss is a base model radio without Sync, and its steering wheel has audio controls. Basically all of them, minus the Sync button. I'd wait a little bit until we can find some more info. Try contacting 05stangKC on here.
