I too watched the reveal last night. A couple thoughts after the fact.

Again kudos to Kory Boy,Didn't he look a little nervous. All kidding around, I'm glad he made it there to get his prize.

You guys have to remember that reveals are marketing tools. A well done reveal should be like foreplay, building up to a climatic finish! It did build up nicely but just at that moment it was like having an image of your grandma pop in your head.
It is SUPPOSED to whet your appitite and get the juices flowing so you want to buy one. A lot of times though marketers do miss the point. I loved seeing all the mustang legends that conjour up all of our memories of yesteryear, that only plays on our emotions. I couldn't wait to see it come out, but then this Mustang drifter comes blowing around the screen in GB and Falken logos and I'm like WTF is this??? It didn't hit the mark IMO.
I will say that I will hold off on judging the car until I see it in person. Until that time, I love my 08 and don't see the need to "upgrade" anytime soon.

So now I noticed three different headlight versions and configurations? Of all I preferred the 'vert projectors...a very clean and a modern take on the 70. works well.
A little something for everybody as they say.

Hopefully sales on the new car will be good. God knows Ford needs it.

yep I was hoping the same...to me for some reason the pics make it look even better. for instance the hip is more pronounced in pics in person it's somewhat of an optical illusion as it doesnt so much as hip up as the body rolls out and down at an angle making it look like it hips a lot like the 67.

now I will say I heard mixed reviews, some people loved it; although many people were more than critical...although you would not realize that based on the reaction people let Ford have during the reveal

I saw it too. Great show considering what the big three were going through all day with the senate banking committee. I watched that on CNBC. All three american auto makers along with the UAW leader were really pleading their case for the "bridge" plan they called it. 25billion to help them stay afloat.

Ford actually dosent need any help at this time!! but would like the option to be there just in case. I don't blame them.
