What if this is really the GT and the other one was actually a V6? Just because that's what were used to calling the GT500 front end doesn't mean it has to be. Remember Ford used the 01 Cobra hood on 2004 V6's. Food for thought. I'm probably totally wrong but then again....

my words from the other thread
ok I also now know why the rear of th3e car bugs me. If you look at the GT500 pics and look at the dea on rear view it looks like the rear end is pinched inward as of from the top view the car is not as wide as it is on the sides. I beelive the 05 has a wider back end.

looks great! except for those tiny little headlights. they are way too small for that bubbled out size. they kinda look like beady little eyes...

Wow, that looks mean! I am impressed. Can anyone zoom in on the rear wheel and see if there are half shafts? I know it's a long shot, but there was a older mule with an IRS.

I was looking at that aswell and they sort of look like it.

it could be wishful thinking, but if it is I'm sharing it. Zooming in all the way on Jalop's max res image and it does look alot like the bottom of the 99 Cobra setup.

You won't see half shafts....

Also... that is the shelby...not the GT

The badge looks LARGE coming out of the trunk..and because the 3rd brakelight is in the spoiler... it looks as if the backup camera will be in the badge.

PLEASE do this with the GT as well... I don't want a spoiler if I don't have to

Maybe they will step up to the plate on the gt500's this time around.

Wish I had the skills to be able sharpen that image a little more that way we could have a better look.
