2010 POLL Love it Hate it Like it????
middle of the road, some things i like, somethings looked better in the 05-09 years. all in all im a 99-04 guy. dont really see myself gettin outta one. though i would love a new bullitt, shelby gt, or saleen though.
I'm middle of the road as well. I want to wait until the final production version is shown and then I'll decided. However, nothing so far says drop my 05 and start all over again with a 2010.
cant really tell w/ the camo
I think this poll should be called "2010 WITH CAMO PAINT - love it or hate it?"
I think alot of our opinions will change dramatically when we see the completed car with normal paint.
Compare these two pics.. if you compare the two ugly-camo-painted cars, I think the refresh looks better. I think Ford does this on purpose with the ugly camo paint, to arouse publicity, and also to make sure that our opinion of the vehicle can only go UP when the car is finally released. (As in, alot more positive reviews in November)..
Here's a pic that Topnotch posted in the other 2010-w/o-camo thread:
2005 body style with ugly paint:

2010 body style with ugly paint:

I think the car will probably look great. The camopaint just adds the +ugly points. To both models. Just my opinion...

I also feel that our current rear end looks a little too large/empty, especially if you have a ducktail spoiler (no offense to those who do). I think the refresh makes the bumper appear smaller and also more visually interesting. (Right now, "too interesting," because there is too much going on with the spotted paint. But I'm pretty confident it will look great with a normal paint job)
Middle of the road. It's not as bad as I had originally thought, but I'm still not falling for it.
Now if she has a 400+ hp motor and weighs less then 3500lbs, there are some things I'll for give.

Middle of the road, too. The front may or may not be an improvement - have to see the finished product to tell; the profile looks great, to me; really don't like what they did with the rear bumper/tail lights.
For me, the interior will be the deciding factor. While I love the looks of my '06 coupe, I spend a lot more time driving it than looking at the exterior. If the top-level interior is significantly better than the current car (which I did NOT like initially, but have grown to love), I'm in. Otherwise, I'll stay with my '06.

Wow. My first impression of the rear without the cammo was uhgg. But the more I look at it and compare it to our current cars, the better and better it's looking. The blackout bottom defuser on the bumper is really doing a good job at making the rear look smaller and sexier. More so on the GT500 than the GT, but good on both nonetheless.
I'll just bet that there were similar discussions when the 67 Mustang came out.
And I would guess that the stuff really hit the fan when the 69 hit the road, or the 71...

Middle of the road without seeing the "Real Deal" at 360 degrees. Totally love the front end shots of the GT-Coupe in the rain! But the rear end and it's great big charcoal rear valance, might take a while to get used to? That being said. If they ever come out with a new 400 HP DOHC 5.0 all alumunum engine package in the GT-Coupe. Then the rear end would be okay. As that's all a drag race loser would see of you! CalStang
