2010 News from other blog site comment

I found this wasting time on another site this morning. I hope this is the best way to present it.

OK, a little info for the mis-in-formed >>

- The new TT EcoBoost engine IS headed for the forthcoming Mustang refresh. Expect northwards of 300HP with good fuel economy.

- The 2011 GT gets the new 5.0L 400HP engine.

- The interior is MAJORLY overhauled: fit, finish and textures will be fully world-class. Plus, the below...

Exterior:

More voluptuous and aggressive exterior styling; a significant evolution over current car
Sequential turn signals standard.
Optional HID headlamps.

Interior:

Interior feels more "open" than previous model.
?Premium Interior Trim? includes chrome pony on inside door panel.
Steering wheel spokes and center pony emblem now real aluminum.
MyColor adjustable gauge colors now includes Halo Color--the ring around the tach and speedo can contrast the numbers.
When headlights are off, the gauges are lit in brilliant white.
Ambient lighting includes door handles.
"MUSTANG" on door sill plates illuminates same color as Ambient Lighting.
Upon startup, gauges do a full sweep.
Grabber Blue cars have optional Grabber Blue interior stitching and Grabber Blue stripe on seats.
Dark brown leather interior optional.
Orange interior optional. Not a bright orange, a little "redder". Looks great.
Console houses cupholders with flip-open cover. Just behind that is the flip-open cover for your MP3 connection to Sync.
Industry-leading NAV system with 8" TFT high definition screen and real time updates.
Park distance control with rear backup camera.

Performance:

2010 GT?s 4.6L 3v V8 gets horsepower boost.
Beefy strut tower brace on GT.
GTs with 19" wheels come with Pirelli P-Zero tires.
Acceleration Package optional
Heritage Performance Package optional

Now, y'all were saying something...? "

What's the significance of the full gauge sweep at start-up?

Pontiac full sweep signified a full systems check upon start up. Similiar to all guages and dummy lights lighting upon start up.
The part of the comment that I hadnt heard yet, or didnt remember from the post that never existed, was the confirmation of the TT V6.

Which makes me think the guy is posting out his hoop if he's copying things he thought he had seen.

Well you stated that things you may or may not have seen, had other things that you had not seen in the post where you may or may not have seen....

And my thoughts on that, were that, if you saw things in his post that were not in the post that you may or may not have seen... I don't think any of that info is first hand... he's posting things he may or may not have seen...

Ya see?

I saw stuff, just that it disappeared rather quickly from a reputable source who declined to admit that I and others saw his thread which no longer exists.
The post I linked kind of took it verbatim, like it could be that same source under a pseudonym. But what do I know, never saw nothing.

Soooooooooo,we've have a TT Ecoboost to compete with the Camaro V6 for 2010?? New SVO-type car? We need it,the Camaro V6 is a nice package,i don't think the 4.0L Ranger V6 will compete with a Caddy V6.

Dont forget the weight difference though. Also just remember this came from a poster on an unconfirmed site not known to truly exist outside of the realm of TMS.
