So, a few days ago my fuel pump stopped working. No problem, ordered a new one after a guy hooked up his fancy pad. Fuel pump wasn't running at all. Well, new one comes I put it in and BAM new one won't run. So, I check for voltage at the harness, I appear to be getting voltage at the fuel pump. Then I notice a silver wire kind of hanging out of the taped up mess of a harness. Is that supposed to be just hanging out? Could that be causing the issue? Is there anything else that could be the problem? Or did I just get a shoddy new fuel pump in?
