2010+ mustang

If your getting one of the 2010 mustang and ups. What are you going to do to the 5.0 engine to make it gain horse power?

Im saving up. Im planing on getting a supercharger from kenne bell and some flow masters to make that v8 sound beautiful If you got any ideas fill me in cause im a newbie like its says in my screen name lmao

I don't think many of us know what we will do since there are virtually no technical specs available on this engine, let alone any aftermarket parts available yet. Heck, the engine is still at least 1.5 years away, and there has been much talk/rumor that it may be 2011 before the engine sees production. It's just too early to tell.

If anything, it would probably be exhaust - more for the improvement in sound. But first, got to make sure there's enough money to pay for gas!

You've got it lucky in the US when it comes to gas prices. I'm running a 2005 GT in the UK. Gas costs me over $8 a gallon. It's rapidly heading towards $9 at the moment. If could pay what you guys pay... I would be driving around the streets just for the sake of it!

Still, I'm up for a 5.0 litre 400 bhp V8!!!

Zektor - so this fuel pricing that is going through the roof is a global thing, not just felt here in the States? If this continues, you could see major political strife all over the globe.

You seriously thought it was just the US ?

Canadian Dollar is pretty equal (within 1cent +/- most days)
and we are paying 1.25 a LITRE (basically 4.75 a gallon) for regular

Yep, we're all feeling the pinch, but in the UK it's made worse at the Government takes about 65% of the cost of gallon of fuel in tax.

If Ford does indeed release a Boss 302 in 2010+, I'm definitely buying one. Mods to the 5.0L engine would intake, exhaust, tune and gears.

Do you think that this new 5.0L would give Ford an excuse to introduce the Boss series again, but this time, just as a sticker package since it already has the 302? Or do you think they will actually go the extra mile and deliver a worthy homage car with power and looks?

I was told by a Ford Rep that the Boss will be the replacement for the Shelby. This Ford Rep is not my "Inside Source", but I tend to believe what he told me.
Regardless, when Ford releases a Boss its going to kick "A$$".
