Very cool, thanks! With the exception of the mutton chops, I now like the 2010 GT front end better than the 05-09. I still think the 2010 V6 front end has them both beat however

'05 front end looks droopy in comparison. And the roof looks really flat. I like the '05-'09 design, but the new one is just more modern and looks better imo

Every time I see an 05-09 on the road now I keep thinking about the 2010's.

I can't wait to get to see one up close. The headlights on the 05-09's now look like it's sad. They also look So Big. And everything is down turned on the 05-09's front end. It just Looks so Soft and Sad compared to the sharp chiseled lines of the 2010. I've heard people complain that the front of the 05-09's looked too "Truck Like", I never thought that, but it definitely does look more Upright and Bigger.

still coming to terms with the new design , like it more and more everytime I see it sep for the taillights , cant wait for the aftermarket to bring this car to its real level of cool .but why all the camaro bashing ,the car is sweet, from just about evey pic I have seen and even the SEMA ones the black one being my fave the car just looks great ,sure it has some small flaws but to keep saying its ugly just seems to me that some people are being way to hard on a car that I bet anyone woud be proud to drive ,just because we love our stangs does not mean that other rides cant be just as fun or cool to be in.O and just wait till the aftermarket gets a hold of it as well ,FIRE!!!!,of course this is just my 02 and I love my stang and look forward to the 2011 for a trade up if the 5.0 really does come back but at least we have some really great options out there.Peace

GT500 is the best, Ford just nailed it with that. Upper and lower grills perfectly complement each other lending a great stylistic unity. Powerful and commanding looking without devolving into self-conscious, braying aggressiveness.
Challenger is next, very clean and well proportioned with no overreaching goofiness. A testament to excellent design vs a lot of design -- very well rendered forms, lines, volumes and proportions with just enough visual interest.
'10 Stang follows, lower and cleaner than the '05 but lacking a bit of stylistic clarity -- a hint of design-by-committee. Hood lump is just a bit too much, a gratuitous "hey; look at me" ornamentation than a cohesive design element. Jowely lower valence not nearly as good as more integrated GT500 execution, even V6 version does this better.
Camaro at the bottom, though, while not ugly by any means, does have a bit of overreaching goofiness and not as good as the excellent side design. Most "Mulletish" styling element of the Camaro, on the exterior at least.

The only thing I don't like about the 2010 GT is the blacked out grille shell. But that's easy to fix since it's part of the grille and removable. A spray can of body colored touch up paint and some sandpaper would fix it .

Undoubtably correct you are! The GT500 (especially its SS and KR versions) are simply unmatched.

As you can see in this comparison shot of the Shelby and a GT the headlight shape and grill openings are much different. the Shelby's head lights appear smaller and more aggressive. I also like how the lower grill opening mirrors the top and doesn't have that down turned pouty look the GT has. As for the rear, I like the black diffuser that replaced the awkward looking arches over the exhaust on the 05-09 GT's, giving the GT-500 a much cleaner appearance. Inside they fixed most of my complaints as well, which trickled down as the Premier Appointment Group on the 07-09 GT's. The leather covered dash pad, arm rests, and console lid helped make the interior much nicer in my opinion, although I still prefer the GT's Steering Wheel with the brushed aluminum trim and the GT's brushed aluminum dash trim over the Shelby's painted dash trim.
