2010 GT or 2003 Cobra vert, why is this so hard?

I'm looking to replace my recently totaled 2010 GT but I;m hung between a 2003 sonic blue cobra vert. or another 2010 GT in grabber blue, HIDs, grabber blue interior accents, security package, 3.73 gears, comfort package and 19" premium painted rims. I can get the 10 new for a little over $29,000 or the cobra for a little over $19,000. The cobra has 44k miles and the owner knows very little about the car and what has been done to it, but it most definitely isn't stock. The payments come out about the same and so does insurance but the cobra would be financed for 4 years where as the GT would be for 7(I know I shouldn't finance any longer than 5 years but I'm young and feel like 7 years isn't much longer than 5, plus I know It would be payed off well before 7 years and being committed to a lower payment is nice). There are a few quirks with the cobra such as the driver side door panel insert has popped out at the top and there is a cigarette burn mark in the rear seat. Here is the vin for the cobra if any one is nice enough to run a carfax :1FAFP49Y33F305845. As well as the craigslist listing with some pics: http://greenville.craigslist.org/cto/1816959344.html.

Anyone who would put '95 R wheels on a '03 Cobra didn't know what they were doing with the car. Run fast.

Get the '10 with a warranty, then start saving up to repaint it to a color that won't give you a headache.

Go with the '10. Could be my paranoia, but I've got serious hang-ups about used Mustangs, especially those that aren't stock or still with the original owner.

Yep. This guy bought it blind, realized it's crap, and is now trying to get top dollar for a pile.

that price is high for that 03 cobra.

go visit www.svtperformance.com and look in the for sale threads for the 03-04 cobra's if you want to find some excellent cars and what they are going for. If buying a used 03-04 cobra I would make sure I found a very knowledgable owner about the car and what all has been done then do compression tests etc.

I sold my 03 10th 2 years ago with 45k miles for 25k but that was when the market was strong and my car was just like new or better as I babied the car and the paint, interior was immaculate on it. It actually sold in 3-4 days to a guy in germany that only saw pictures of it.
