2010 Concept by me!

So I've seen a few mock ups flying around, and saw a thread earlier today about how some people liked having no quarter window, and others wanted the quarter window. So I took a look at the 68-70 Mustang and found a photo of the 07 Shelby and got to work. This is purely my vision and I in no part work with Ford (unless they call and offer me a design job)

Enjoy!

Looking pretty good... take off the stripes, the emblems, and keep the Mach rims and you got yourself a winner

OK, did a little tweaking, and decided that we needed a 2009 Mach 1 as well.

The '69 parts fit well Nice job, very clean. My only teency complaint is that the stripes just don't do it for me.

However, I love the wheel selections and overall look

OK, had some suggestions and have added them... new front end, shaker hood, and chin spoiler. Thanks for all the great feedback.

Very well done Danny, I especially like how you did the quarter panel windows..It looks almost identical to the 69-70 Mach 1 much in the same way the current S-197 is indentical with the original 65-68 fastback.. If possible ? is there any chance of doing a rear angle view ?

Why does it have both a spoiler and duck tail? The shaker version just doesnt do it for me, looks to much like a dodge.

Sorry to keep adding tweaks... but the front end and back 'ducktail' were bothering me. I also did some more 'hip' to it.

Yes, this is repeating the past, but there are a lot of people who are hoping Ford does an S197 with a more 69-71 feel to it. I'm just playing around with what it might look like.

The 69 Mach 1 had what appears to be a rear lip + black wing. This is why my rendering has the same feel. That Mach 1 also had a shaker hood, that again is why my rendering has the same look.

UPDATE: Here is my completed rendition in several colors to choose from. Enjoy!

Besides from the 2005 concept front bumper, it makes a great 40th anniversary for the 69 Mach 1.

Teach me your ways, I stink at photoshop

man that is friggin awesome, maybe ford should hire you for design, any of those would be top sellers, as log as you put a little hp under the hood, a Mach 1 would have to be stout!
