Btw, topnotch.. still curious.. what are you basing your predictions on? I ask cause they seem correct.

And from whatever you're basing your predictions on, would you guess that Alloy will ever return in the 2010-2014 model ?

I like the new Cinnamon color on the Ford Flex press shots. It's kinda like burgundy, but i've seen the color in person and I think it would look hot on a Mustang. I also like Blazing Copper from the Edge. These are both cool looking colors that are already in Ford's lineup and the Mustang hasn't had colors like this in the Mustang lineup for a while now.

Can't believe no one has mentioned the return of Amber Gold. After seeing the shots of the car on 2010Mustang.com, the car pictured there is NOT Grabber Orange, but rather Amber Gold. I know because I have a 2009 Focus on our lot in that color. All I can say is, its definitely different.

Fords played around with it for a bit now.

I remember those pics from yesteryear. Color is pretty dead-on from the Focus I have here to that picture.

I would like to see the amber gold in a side view, but it doesnt change my mind about the grabber blue. All I have on my lot is silver and black for foci. Wouldnt mind seeing some different colors, but we havent sold a Focus in over 40 days. Everyone is buying SUVs and trucks still. In fact we have a 08 CS/GT here since January.

we need legend lime to make another run but i was also always a fan of the mineral grey.

yellow would be nice to see again as long as it is not the zinc shade. and if i am not mistaken, the pictures of the grabber and aztec are a few years old now yet people are acting like it is the latest and greatest.

I hope they keep Vapor silver for the '10. After black, it's my favourite current colour.........and it'd be a darn sight easier to keep clean.

The fact that its built at AAI means it has to share colors w/ the Mazda 6, and the number of different colors is fixed. The 6 has some unique colors, and so does Mustang ( you've never seen a G.O. 6, have ya? )

So I'd take a look at whatever the new 6 has, and then fit Grabber Blue and Amber Gold in there, the rest should mix out if you keep the overall # of colors the same as todays car.

My guess is:
Amber Gold
Grabber Blue
Perf White
Black
Torch Red
Wine/Maroon Color
Sterling Gray
Vista Blue
Some new Silver

That'd give you two reds, two silvers, two blues, and required black and white, and the gold replacing the grabber orange.

Yeah, I'd say that's a good guess. I have noticed that some of the teaser shots show an orange color that doesn't appear to be Grabber Orange.

Its Amber Gold, not orange. I'm 95% sure on that.

Thumbs down

No Dark Candy? I have people come up to me and tell me they do not like the current Mustang but tell me my car looks sharp with that color.

I'm sure that they'll have some sort of metallic red.

+1 I'm still hoping they'll keep alloy.. no reason to have TWO mid-grey's (vapor silver & sterling grey)

I guess I've forgotten what Amber Gold actually looks like. I seem to remember it looking more yellow.
