Hey everyone with navigation systems in there 2010-2014 mustangs. I got a question. When I have the auto climate on and I decrease the temp I get cold air coming out of the front vents but when I start raising the temp the top vent on the dash next to the front windshield turns on but It never switches to the front vents it only blow the hot air through the top vents. Is this normal for everybody else.

By top vents do you mean the defroser?
anyway I tried mine in all the settings and it did not change to different vents at any time it stayed coming out the vent were it was set to.

 

mine does the same thing, i think what happens is when its set on a higher temp (on auto) and the interior starts to get warmer than that set temp. the system changes to a cool mode and the air starts to come out from the front vents, (eventually the a/c will come on)....so if you lower the temp to a # lower than the interior temp its the same thing.....and my escape does it too, so i think its normal.
