Can you please measure the distance from the base (screws) of you upper manifold to the top of your whipple? I'll measure mine too so I know that if yours is a larger measurement then I know it will fit mine. My only concern is that your 13 hood is different from my 12???? I wonder if that will make a difference?
Burton, sorry, been away from the forums all day yesterday, I saw that you're getting the Steeda strut tower brace, so do you still need me to do this or are you all set?

Gabe, would you mind, please? At least I'll have that data point? I know if it doesn't fit I'll have the GT500 stb as another option? Thanks so much man.

Playing with some Corvettes. Couldn't quite keep pace with the C5 Z06, but was an average of 1 sec/lap faster than the C6 with bolt ons. I love this pic though going around "Big Bend" at Limerock here in CT.

Another 11 days and I'll have my final exterior mods done. And pictures.

Talked to TrueForged and they had some problems with the wheels I'd ordered. I spoke with Steve directly and he walked me through the issues, told me what they're going to do to resolve the issue (and verified that I was ok with it) and has been on top of it ever since. It hasn't been a smooth process but it hasn't been their fault either. They've been up front and direct with me the whole time and I couldn't be happier with their service, even though the wheels are going to be a few weeks later than expected. Anyone on the fence about some seriously high-end, high-quality wheels, talk to TrueForged. They are 100% top notch business individuals.

Brake clearance with the lip size I wanted. It was going to be 4", but the face caught on the stock Shelby brakes so we went with a 3.5" lip instead. It clears the calipers all around. I think I'll end up liking this better because it's more of a flat face instead of the exaggerated curve as the face reaches the rim. They built the wheels, checked them on Steve's stock '13 GT500 and found out they wouldn't work (they went with offsets that have worked for other wheels on the Shelby), contacted me and told me they'd have to move the face out half an inch just to make clearance. I ok'd it, they ran with it and are getting it all put together and verifying balance on all four on Saturday, then sticking them in the mail Monday. If they're here Thursday (and they're rushing them), I'll have them mounted by Friday. If not, I'll have to wait until the 27th, since the 26th is Memorial Day.

They are on the inside though. I wish they were on top though but then again they would be just like everyone else. The part numbers are laser etched on the cans too.
