I first drove her home on Sept. 13, 2010. This is how she looked yesterday with 28,500 miles since new:

Outstanding! I really like that red interior with a silver car. Was that a special factory order?

Yes - I ordered it special that way, and with spoiler-delete. Took more than 2 months to arrive.

Considering the Nice Shape of The Car I'm Guessing That is Part of The Photo op!

From looking at your photo description, you certainly were not exaggerating on how she still looks as new as when you first brought her home 13 years ago... In the meantime, congrats on keeping your Mustang in pristine condition and thanks for sharing...

Yes - my son (my older one who's in that photo) is 23 now and a college graduate with his own apartment, career, and a beard! And I never could convince him to learn to drive a stick shift.

It's my lousy parking job, I admit. I climbed back in and re-parked when I noticed while photographing it how badly I'd done!

Goes By in A Flash Don't It! Well Maybe The Reason The Miles are Low & The Condition good Is a Side Bonus of That Even Though it Would Have Been Fun To Share That Experience!

Enjoy What You Have For Sure!

You just wanted to make sure you didn't get any curb rash on the wheels, LOL. It looks great and that is crazy low mileage, how do you resist taking out on long road trips?

The farthest it's ever been is to Cleveland (I live outside of Chicago). That was a last-minute decision because my wife's car was in the shop so she needed my other car (she doesn't drive stick shift and my daily driver is now a 2018 Mazda 3 with an auto trans). So that trip added about 700 miles to the odometer. I also drove it up to Door County, Wisconsin, once.

It is tempting to take it back out to the country for long rides on rural roads. I might next summer.

It does go by quickly. Our younger son is a sophomore in an out-of-state college, so we're empty nesters. Except for our 16-year-old cat we've had since he was a kitten.

You were in my town Cleveland! I told my wife I wanna take our 14 for a weekend trip to Chicago! Probably will be next summer at this point. We need to pick up 6 bottles of Lou Malnati salad dressing and a pizza while we are there!

Only 28k miles?? It's amazing. I don't know how folks do that. (No, that isn't criticism.)

I'm the type who drives them every day. When I sold my first Mustang, she had 260,000 miles on her. The 2015 currently has 96,000 and change.

I look forward to every minute behind the wheel!

It helps that I live in Chicago and seldom feel the need to drive it in snow an ice that we have six months a year.
Also, it's always been my second car, for fun. I have the Mazda for winter, trips, and everyday drives. And my wife has a car, too, that we often use.
