For Japan...and Europe...check out the amber rear turn signals 7 minutes in...pretty cool...
and the folding side mirrors...

The Ford UK GT500 press car had a similar setup out back. Personally, I think the Mustang HAS to have the 3 red taillights. I'd much prefer they turned one of the reversing lights into a turn signal

Ford put that huge license plate surround there and they don't even use Euro plates there in Europe!

Nope........we can use a 12x6 "import" sized 'plate. Bet you never thought you'd hear the Mustang called an import

I much prefer to keep the 'plates the original size

Even though I hugely prefer amber turn signals to red ones ('13 Mustang is my first car without them since the 70s), and realise they're required in much (all?) of Europe, I think they totally ruin the coolness that is the rear lighting setup North American-style. Not that I get to see it much anyways... [I love ALL the '13 lighting actually, a very good job was done IMO.]

Ha. I will be in Germany when these make it there if anyone needs a hookup. I'm gonna leave my '13 as is while I'm there so I can remain unmistakably Murrican.

Ha! That's news to me. Do other countries allow for the 12x6 plate too?

I had JDM tail lights on my old Camaro SS. Yes, JDM! They were nicknamed Candy Corns.

I've seen Corvettes around here with similar "JDM" taillights.

Some countries have plates almost as long as a snowboard.

I enjoyed watching the whole thing even with no Japanese

I disliked the fact that only the outer lights blink tho...

Mine is the GCC spec( Arab spec)- No difference to the US one except for the Arabic script on the side mirror & stickers & instruction(Engine bay, side door). If the car goes over 120km/hr- An alarm will sound indicating you're over 120km. It's a must for Gulf spec cars.
