12.4 in stock 2011 GT

I recently went to the drag strip with my 2011 Mustang GT and here are the results. Best run to date is a 12.475 @ 113.88mph, second best was a 12.506 @ 113.59mph. The car is a base 2011 Mustang GT Automatic, no mods at all.

A tune and CAI you should be running 11.9 or so. Great run. You plan on getting a tune? Were you running DR's?

As a owner of a auto GT, it good to see that time slip. A couple of questions for you...what kind of launch did you do (did you just floor it...or did you power brake) if you power braked, what rpm were you holding the motor at?

I hope I can clear up all questions. I leave at around 1000rpms on the brake. My car is a no option automatic. No weight reduction, spare in trunk etc. I run on the stock 235/50/18s with stock front tires and wheels, no skinnys. Tire pressures are factory as far as I know, never checked them. Track was cecil county md 11/12 . 12.475 pass around 7pm. 11/19 I went back and managed 12.465 and 12.492. And yes I do need to lose around 20 lbs. Ive been racing for 46 yrs.

He's driving an automatic, so not 3.73, unless he modded it afterward. 3.15 is the only final drive ratio automatics come with stock.

These deep 12 second runs on these cars stock are just amazing. The '11+ Mustangs allow you to drive a streetable, fairly easily reached 11 second car. Just awesome.
