Spotted!!!!!! I saw one last night!!!! Yes, it will have the slight Giugiaro styling in the front. the front headlights have this very clean curve around them. It was a convertable version. It was at night so i did not get the best look. I only saw the car for about 2 sec's as it was going to other way. The spoiler was ok.. It went arcoss the whole car, but it looked more like a 03/04 Cobra spoiler. All i can say is that it look good. The only thing that is driving me crazy right now is that for one, isnt it kinda early to have it with no camo??

Also, there was a cop right behind me, and it was illegal to turn around. So i coulda caught up with the guy, but i could not. The exhaust definalty has a differnt note to it. I have not heard of them doing anything differnt to the motor. Maybe ford is just adding more hp, but the exhaust note was definalty different the GT's i have heard.

 

It sounds like he saw a GT500 vert. Think about it: headlights slightly curved [the shelby headlights curve on the inside], spoiler like an 03/04 cobra [03-04 cobra's had "ducktail-like" spoilers, similar to shelby's], the exhaust may have just been changed out by the owner [a 5.4L will sound different than a 4.6L, just listen to F150's]

the first time a saw a GT500, it was at dusk, and I had no idea what it was at first when I saw it coming at me. I knew it was a mustang, but I thought it just had a special body kit or something. Then, when I saw it pass, I knew it was a shelby.

 

i hope the new mustang looks nothing like that ricey Giugiaro version. that looks nothing like a mustang. 09 hello camaro for me lol

That story dosen't seem very credible... What is the chance you see a 2009 mustang? What is the chance you see a 2009 mustang with a cop car behind you?

 

I was at the NAIAS in Detroit last week and the announcer at the Giugiaro concept made it sound like they still haven't made up their minds on the design yet. He said to e-mail Ford and let them know if you like the Giugiaro concept or not. He also said the re-design was for the 2010 model year.
Personally I think the concept is O.K. but not nice enough for me to go out and trade in my 05.

 

they had some spy shots up on some websites with covers over the front and a picture of the guigiardo mustang under and there were very similar lines...but we have to wait and see

 

I saw a unicorn on I-95 the other day. But the easter bunny cut me off, so I didn't get a great look at it.
