Flashback: After Michigan last year (scores converted to 15 race average in order to compare to this season)
evil capri 10816 (+149 better than this year)
jeffreydj 10608 (+1906 better than this year)
scothew 10381 (+832 better than this year)
AFBLUE 10340 (+119 better than this year)
basmatiburner 9582 (-241 worse than this year)
Well at least one of us is doing better this year compared to last.
Although my average was better, I was in 4th place after Michigan last year.

Wow, my cap jumped $5.79 this week.

In the overall standings (all leagues), there is a guy ranked 64th with a $197 cap.
Can you believe that as good as Evil is doing, the #1 team is 1102 points ahead of him. Now that's some good guessing.

The best score anyone has gotten in any league this year is 997 points during the Chevy American Revolution 400.
I think the highest score possible is 1085. In order to do this you would have to finish 1-6th with every driver leading a lap and your winner being the pole position.

So anyone think J.Gordon is gonna pull it out again this week? he dominated last year leading just about every lap I believe.
Well I am going to wait untill qualifying before I make my changes, but I think Gordon will be my front runner. I need points and salary cap increase bad so maybe he will help that out.

If you want to increase your cap, I would look at this site.
If you notice Kyle Busch is rated higher in here than Sadler. That's because it's weighted towards winning as opposed to where you finish. Wins give you the biggest cap jump.

I was also thinking about a strategy where I sacrifice points for cap increases in the short run to get a primo roster, but I don't think I have the huevos to stick with it.
For you, it may be worth the gamble.
