A few weeks ago a car in front of me threw up a rock that hit the hood, denting the aluminum and gouging the paint down to the metal. Had the hood repaired and repainted and the shop did an excellent job considering this color is a little difficult to match.

I ordered a factory hood scoop and had them paint and install it as well. I know they obviously do nothing, but I always liked the way they looked.

 

I know what you mean by hard to match. When I went to a shop to get a new bumper painted the body shop told me that there are about 6 different colour variations of Windveil Blue. You could really see the difference between all the different shades.

Car looks great! That colour will never go out of style!
