Vista Blue in New Zealand

Hi Guys, new here so go easy!!

Thought this thread needed some new blood and felt my 'new to me' Mustang might just do the trick!!

What do you guys think of the license plate? My wife and my daughter are not liking it but I wanted something that was unigue to the car and quintessential American ala Bruce Springsteen.

Lookin' good. So where are you in New Zealand? My wife and I (along with 25 other folks from the UK, Canada and the U.S.) toured the North and South Islands for five weeks in 2004 in our Morgans that we shipped over. Beautiful country, great people and delicious fish.

Hi tukatz. I live in Helensville which is about 50km NW from Central Auckland. Yes we do have some very picturesque scenery and being surrounded by all that water with a boating mad population, fresh fish (snapper) is a staple diet of many. That must have been some trip around NZ in the Morgans. They seem like a really interesting car and interesting story. I don't imagine a handcrafted Morgan would come cheap though, so I might be wedded to my Mustang for some time to come yet haha.

Hi Tukatz. I replied with supportive comments to your amazing story but the mods didn't allow it to be published. It was pretty bland so not sure what arcane or obscure rule I broke but being new here i must have missed something. Anyway, a great story and I am glad you and Moggie both enjoyed NZ.

Glad you enjoyed it. To this day we have not met a Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc that wasn't great.

You have a very awesome Vista Blue GT. Also, dig the S197GT/Born in the U.S.A license plates as well. Thanks for sharing, congrats and welcome to TMS

Hey thanks M05fastbackGT.!!!

I'll put that comment on the 'likes' side of the number plate contest I'm having with my wife and daughter at the moment.
