This is a preproduction model that a Ford employee drove to the Grand-Am races in Ohio this weekend.

I saw my first Vista car about an hour ago.

Actually, I think the pictures are pretty accurate. It's a deep midnight blue in the shade or when the sun is behind you, but has a definite lighter "pop" when the sun is directly reflected off of it (7th photo down).

I have also seen the "pink" tones in the Tungsten.

 

It almost looks like it has some green in it, nice color.

 

Vista looks very nice.....definately screaming for some white pinstripes

Its amazing the difference the black pony centercaps make on the fanblades versus those generic ford caps.

 

I'm glad I changed from TG to VB today. That color keeps growing on me. After seeing it next to a TG last weekend, I had to change. The pics are pretty accurate compared to what I saw last weekend.

 

So, it is darker than Sonic?

It would be great if someone could get a SB and a VB in the same shot.

Agreed. And no purple tint or pearl tones.

 

I just got back from my dealer and saw Vista and Sonic side by side. Vista is slightly lighter, with a bit more metallic shine to it.

Also saw Tungsten next to Mineral Gray. No comparison there. MG is brownish gray. TG is pinkish gray. Not my cup of tea

 

If i were Ordering today This would be my 1st choice.

 

:bang: If I had known they where going to replace Sonic with such a cool color, I might have waited till 2006. Oh well, I really love Sonic, and I even like the purpleness of it.

That Vista Blue though, man, what a cool color.

I'm starting to like the fanblades less and less... Now, fanblades in chrome or all polished or black with polished edges might look pretty sweet though.

As for Vista vs Sonic... They're very much the same, the VB tends to lean towards green-blue while Sonic leans toward violet-blue. Under one light they will probably look identical, while under another they might look like a green car next to a purple car. Much like MG and TG can both look grey in one pic, and look brown & purple in another. I like how a lot of these colors change like that. It adds a dynamic touch to a dynamic car

All the Blues look great on the 05-06 Mustangs. The Sonic Blue on the O5 has caught my attention a couple of times, Vista Blue looks awesome, of course driving a Windveil Blue 05 GT I'm a Blue fan. It's the fanblade wheels that are going to take some getting used to.

First impression isn't wow....
