. . . P U R P L E ! ! !

I was washing my wife's car around 3pm, the sun was to my west and about a 60 degree angle with respect to the car's position. Sure enough, there it was. Not as pronounced as Sonic Blue but nevertheless, very noticeable. Ford hosed us again.

My wife didn't want the Sonic Blue for exactly that very reason. Am I going to tell her of my discovery? ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!

 

This looks like a job for 'girlie man'! (I'll make the call....)

 

You know... knowing this makes me HAPPIER with my choice of Vista. I loved the purple in sonic... so knowing there is a little purple in it makes me happy!!

Yeah I wasn't going to say it but I seen it on mine from a certain angle it looks KINDA purple, though only under exact circumstances. Still as a male who happens to love blue an hate purple I am not bothered by this at all. Perfect example look at adrenelin's car (go a head call it girly I dare you ). So potnetial vista owners don't sweat it, its a manly of a blue as you can get. I mean most people I talk too think Windveil Blue is a girl color (I happen to disagree) I am just saying from everyone from my mom to my Grandmom they have said they think it was girly and others think it makes look too old. To each his own.

Yeah I noticed that as well. I like it. Not so pronounced as the Sonic Blue, but gives the car more luster.

 

So George, is it ok with you that we merge the Sonic and Vista blue sections together?

 

The only time I've seen purple on my SB is when I lit it up with a flashlight.

Other than that, it's been blue and nothin' but blue...

I love this blue...it has a green tint to it when the sun is directly on it and a purple tint to it in the dark. The metallic flakes are just great. I am extremely impressed that Ford did such a good job.

I do indeed own and love a VB GT.
