Paint delamination problems or other defects?

Are there any reports of delamination or defects with the vista blue metallic paint like with the ebony clearcoat?

How many here have had their Vista Blue GT repainted under warranty for some type of paint defect?

It's only been 3 months, but I've seen no problems whatsoever on my VB car.

That's good to hear! I've had the black factory paint on our Ford E-250 peel off but luckily we had just the hood repainted under warranty. We've had good experiences with Ford's blue metallic paints in the past.

will have had mine a year on the 17th- <10k miles, no paint issues...one tiny (tiny like a '.' in this font) chip inside the passenger door edge where one of the kids bumped it with something...cant believe almost a year old and no dings yet...I left my poor old Mark VII at work as a door ding protector(or absorber) and the mustang sat beside it at end of row at work...suprised the nose isnt chipped yet- dont follow anyone too closely

ordered a set of silverhorse racing flush mount louvers, hopefully wont scratch it up cutting the rear quarter glass adhesive out...

last winter I ran big dorky mudflaps and it really kept the quarters clean...I got a cheep set of flat plastic ones and used the 2 pin retainers on the rocker to hold them on- had to shorten them 1" and brake back at about 30 degrees to keep from dragging, but man did it keep the side of the car doors/rockers clean...probably going to put a set of ford rears on this year, as the big ones are just too ugly(although they do look better than mud/dirt/paintchips/etc...) I drove last winter on dry salty days, but not if wet at all...just couldnt stand not to drive it for 3 months

My previous 06 VB never had any paint problems (over a Year old) compaired to what others were saying about how thin the paint was, I swore they goofed on my car and put more paint either that or I had so much wax on her that nothing could ding it
