nice- and 40k is nothing to these newer cars. only age related stuff ive heard was to keep a eye on lower balljoints, and thats about all I can think of. Ive got 40 on my 06, still tight as ever, aligned twice, one side required about 1/4 turn of toe adjustment last time, thats it.
fun as it is, avoid powershifting-- I'd suggest changing to royal purple synchromax in the tranny too. I pretty much fried my second synchro, changed to r-p and still driving it 2 years later, although last time at the track it reminded me powershifting is not a good idea- didnt grind, but had that same kinda almost grind as before when it acted up...hope to pull the trans this winter and finally fix it, maybe put in a clutch while its apart...it dont need one, but its not as smooth as the 09.
enjoy~ I got mine dec of 05, still as much fun as the day I got it. ford really did a wonderful job on these cars. to me theyre the best lookers since 69, and although I'd have preferred Acapulco blue, they really look great in Vista!

Thanks again guys. Like I said it's great to be in a Mustang again. My wife really enjoys driving it, which is the important part. We all know if mama isn't happy nobody is happy.
It has a lot of cool features like the My Touch color thing. Being able to change the gauge colors is pretty sweet. If you get bored with one, you just simply hit a few buttons, and there ya go new gauges. I also like the ability to have the MP3 plug in. You add those few interior features into a great performing, great sounding V8 Mustang, and I'm loving it!

Yes liking the Vista Blue
Really like the Vista blue also and haven't seen very many around here. Needed some touch up paint and had to order from a Ford dealer over an hour away. Drive on weekends and when weather is permitting and after 7 years still turns heads!

All three of the S197 darker blue offerings (Vista, Kona, DIB) are outstanding.
Shortly after I got my '14 'vert in May, I saw a low mileage, attractively priced '08 Shelby GT 'vert for sale (Shelby conversion, non-supercharged). It was VB with silver stripes, grey leather and absolutely stunning. I remember thinking that had I seen that car before I got mine I would have strongly considered it.
Both of these posted above are really nice.
