1500 posts... time to get a life? :)
just noticed the count thing...jeez.
love these cars, funny how many hours been spent reading/typing stuff about them... guess its better than hanging out in a bar or something, but still not very productive.
will be time for that long winter rest soon, november in Ohio has been better than last spring so far, but the snow and salt cant be too far off.
hoping to do a clutch and tranny rebuild over the winter, maybe drop the 09 tank and add a drain bung/fill it with sealer...sitting 3 years is surely got some gunk in it...figure with a decent drain, can fill/drain/refill annually to preserve the tank, its got 4.6 miles on it as of today (3.1 when they dropped it off in dec 08), only gets moved the few hundred feet down the drive and back, steering cycled, ac cycled every few weeks...after today really noticed how bad my 06 clutch is compared to a fresh one...even with the 3.31s the 09 seems stronger too? might be time for a tuneup at 49k
think the wifes got 15k on hers now no issues at all, battery died once last winter, but a day on a desulfating charger and its fine still a year later...the 06 needed a battery last year, so swapped from the 09, been charging the 06s old battery monthly, it worked till today...moved the 09, shut it off, wouldnt start a hour later...might get the wifes a new one, move hers to the 09 with a battery tender on it...hard on batteries not using them...
thanksgiving breaks about over, the few days off was great, getting to drive the Mustang on some warm sunny late november days was really cool too...
lots to be thankful for this year again, the wifes hearts been doing better- a stent a few months ago, but otherwise good, last echo showed EF @ 35%, best its been since the heart attack, middle son is now same height as his year younger brother- three open hearts and 2 caths as a newborn, they said he'd probably be 5' at adulthood- nope, at 13, hes growing like a weed finally, heart/lungs doing awesome, hes one of about half a dozen kids weve ever heard of surviving pulmonary lymphangiectasia, at first they said he'd never get off the vent, now hes playing the saxaphone and basketball every chance he gets...work made it thru bankruptcy, ive still got a job and some of the best friends a guy could ever hope for...life is good
