There's a Revell model kit for a 2006 Mustang GT coupe. You have to paint it and glue it though. I ordered one online since Wal-Mart did not have any 2006s in stock.
I've never really built a model kit before so I don't have the right glue or paint. Any ideas? I was thinking about going to AutoZone and finding a spray can with the closest match to Vista Blue, but Duplicolor doesn't have "G9" in their catalog. It must be too new of a color.

Be sure to use only glue and paint that is made for plastic models. If you don't the other paint may eat the plastic.

I got most of my tips from here:

As for painting, I bought a cheap airbrush kit from Wal-mart and used this premixed (for airbrushes) factory paint from here:

I got my car in the mail yesterday, and put it together quickly. I went with the polished wheels, and like the fact that it has the KDW NT's on it already (like I have on mine). I'll have to take it apart later on and paint the interior parchment to match my car though.
And it looks great on the shelf above my desk.

That is very cool!!! I can even add stripes to the car as well, to make it look more like mine! I'll have to check around to see if I can find it in the stores. LBJay, which craft store did you find it in? Thanks for the help.

I heard to use enamel for plastic models.
Should I thin it out with lacquer thinner to use it in an airbrush? Can I just use the glass jar stuff you buy at walmart or does it have to be special airbrush enamel paint?

Michael's, get outta here! I'll have to check the one right by my work on my way home tonight. Thanks for the heads up!
Metro, there is a company on the web, that sells small bottles of factory car paint, that is already thinned out for airbrush useage. I think there is a link in the Revell Mustang model topic in the Toys section.
