The secret of Tungsten's purple hues revealed!

I went to Sherwin-Williams today to get a half-pint of T8 mixed up to fix my hood (the paint bubbling issue), and when I looked at the components in it, it suddenly became apparent why Tungsten Gray Metallic casts a purple hue in certain lighting:

RO# DESCRIPTION PARTS
U7204 COURSE METAL 41.6
U7208 MED BRIGHT METAL 35.2
U7271 EFFECT ADDITIVE 13.3 (HELPS METAL FLAKES SETTLE FLAT)
U7281 DEEP BLACK T 10.2
U7235 INDIGO BLUE 8.5
U7036 ULTRA HS MAGENTA 2.5 (HS = HIGH-STRENGTH)
U7048 AZURE BLUE 0.7
U7282 UHS BC WHITE 0.4
BCS65 STABILIZER F 102.4
