I know! I already have my ducktail, lol Just waiting for the car, same car just no ICAP. It looks nice with that color, but ICAP is not me.

A part of me says I should have gotten the Vert just like you...actually that part of me is called "my wife". I told her if she can supply the extra $3-5k, I'll consider it. Dusty1, please post your photos when you receive it. I just might have to upgrade in a few years.

I'll post them first thing. Hopefully it'll be sunny! It's supposed to be at the dealership by next Wed, but the dealer is putting on the Chromatic mirror and window tint before I pick it up. I decided to let the dealer put the mirror on in case the windshield gets broken, and also so it's covered under my 7 yr 60kmile warranty.

I've got the charcoal CDC Lightbar sitting in the garage waiting....Sequential tailights too. Can't wait!

 

My goal was to purchase a GT that was a bit understated in appearance (ie spoiler delete), at least on the outside. I would like to drive it fast, and fall under the "radar" so-to-speak of the local law enforcement types. In three years, when the warranty is up, the mods will begin.. that is if the speeding tickets permit...

I have to say...I'm still wetting my pants. After picking it up at the Dealer last night, I threw my two kids in the car and we cruised for hours. I still can't believe it's mine...but I guess, it's really the banks'. I never had the chance to test drive the GT until I drove it off the lot. I was crapping bricks for a while, but the clutch's feel and lightness were quite amazing. I was far better than I imagined and the best stick I've ever owned.

Awesome, was hoping to see one with the crimson interior! Almost exactly what I have on order other than the spoiler and I got the 17" Bullit wheels.

 

Thanks for comments. The ride on the 18's is surprisingly smooth..way better than I expected. The ride doesn't beat you up like say in a G35 coupe with the 19". Having not driving an 05-06 GT with 17", my comments are very subjective...but I would say that ride harshness on the 06 18" should not be factor in choosing between the 17's or 18's. I simply love them. I cruised all night yesterday on Madison WI's harsh pot-holed, frost-heaved streets, and was not affected by the ride.

Wow!! That is beautiful. Thats exactly what I ordered except your pics are really making me re-consider the fan blades.
