I too would like to see some sonic blue 05's with aftermarket rims. I'm leaning towards the FR500's but can't decide on color. The rims on the 07 cobra look good too ! The pictures on tire rack don't do it for me, I'd like to see some real pictures !!!

why not do a search. You will see that lots of us have already installed aftermarket wheels

Love your car, I've watched your progress over the past year.

I think I've searched just about every Mustang site looking for Sonic's with aftermarket rims. It would be coool if there was one place to see Just Sonic blue stangs with rims. I've seen many different color stangs with rims but very few Sonic blues. I'd like to see all 3 fr500 colors and the 07 cobra rim on a sonic before I buy some. I'll keep searching ... I'll either find some pictures or I'll give up and buy something !

 

I'm just runnin stockers, but I have Gran Turismo4 for the PS2 and I was able to set up my Sonic Blue GT with about 120 different wheel looks. Pretty close to real stuff. That would be a big help to have a site where you could try on new stuff. [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumb.gif[/img]

 

Adrenaline, I just read up on your 05, nice story. I can tell you love your like I do. I had all my paint and body work done while out of town, so I didnt get to take pics like you did. Just worked out that way. I am looking at a couple more upgrades like a chin spoiler and maybe MRT rear facia. I wanted new mufflers, but want them to fit. Don't want cat back too much for me.
Really nice job on yours though.

Well as opposed to many guys here I didn't want a change in sound too drastic and definately didn't want it to be annoying on long drives. So, all I can say for now is it sounds deeper and definately nicer than stock. Just can't wait to take it out for a drive.
One little downside for now. Can't get them centered in bumper openings. Will probably be an easy fix once I get it on a lift. But for now.....sounds real sweet.

Nope. I got the classic ones. Not alot of change in sound although deeper. I'll tell you more when I take it out of hibernation. All I did to this day is rev it in the garage but the real test will be on the highway. Then I'll see if I really like 'em or trade them in for the stingers.
