From the image shown it appears that Sonic Blue and Vista Blue are very close in color. One could very easily create a ghost stripe effect by painting Vista Blue stripes on a Sonic Blue car or vice versa.

It's ok if you think the idea is stupid, I thought about it at work before I had my coffee so I was suffering from lack of caffine.

Might be kinda cool to have the sonic blue stripes on the vista blue car (hard to tell from just the samples), especially with the way the sonic blue changes hue depending on the light ... sometimes it would stand out pretty well and other times it would be almost invisible.

That would be awesome to see a vista blue car with sonic blue stripes. It would make people look twice at your car.

b_btrick nice pic!!!!!!!!!!! Go Pats!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually it would be cool to have Sonic Blue flames on a Vista Blue car. The only time they would really come out is in certain lights, especially at night. Sonic really seems to change under street lights.

Great Idea!!!!!!!!

Ever since I saw the orange/orange stripes Street Scenes California Dreamer I've been trying to think of a color that would achieve the same look on Torch Red.

This Sonic/Vista combo would be great.

I attended the Sunset Ford car show in St. Louis, Missouri the first weekend in June. I took my '78 (no one to drive the '05 down for me, and I haven't yet figured out how to drive 2 cars at the same time - oh well). ANYWAY ---- there was a class for 2005 only with several entries. There was a Sonic Blue 05 GT there that the girl had for 3 days and had dark stripes on it. (pic below). The stripes blend in so well that you don't see them at night, they totally disappear.

And she had the chrome wheels with the mustang spinner caps on. Awesome looking car.

I think your right!!!

I didn't think I'd get such a positive response. My cars going to be Tungsten Silver and I've been searching for a color that will blend in with it to get a similar effect. Hmm, I still have time to switch to Vista Blue....................

If I had a bit more patience and could have waited a year for my car, I was planning to get Tungsten with satin silver stripes.

I'm considering the Tungsten stripes for my car. But $$$$ is lacking at the moment.
