I'm getting a Vista Blue 06 GT, and I wante to stripe it, but I'm not sure which color I should go with. I've seen many white which look great, but I was wondering if anyone has done Black?

I know black is hard to see, but I wanted to get the following stripes

and I don't think they would look good white on blue.

White Wide stripes might not look very good.

I think black on blue would look great. I've been considering black or dark gray myself (Dark Shadow Grey).

I'm hoping to see some pics myself......

I found these on here somewhere. Not very good pics, but this is all i found. It is NOT my car, by the way. I think Vista Blue w/ black would look very good. Though I am heavily considering white stripes, or maybe suuuuuper light grey if I get the Vista Blue GT.

Hmmm... Now, my opinion may seem a bit biased, but hear me out. I've always thought the purpose of body appearance mods in the form of paint/vinyl would be to create a good contrast, that way the two different colors are easily distinguishable, even from a distance. Black on blue... I would think that the contrast between the two would not be very high, so the visual "punch" of the stripes would be lessened. Especially with Sonic Blue, which deepens to almost a deep purple in the right light, the black wouldn't get lost in it, but get close.

In short, with Sonic or Vista Blue, I would choose a color to provide just that visual "punch." I saw one car on here with Satin Silver stripes on Sonic Blue, and it looked just awesome! I almost went that way myself. It would really be a good choice if you get the IUP, since the aluminum dash would complement the silver stripes almost perfectly.

Just my pair of pennies...

Eric,

I agree, but I want to have those dual wide stripes on the hood, and two big fat white stripes on the hood wouldn't look good. Black would look great though.
