Today while I got my 05 Sonic Blue V6 2nd oil change I saw the Sales Rep. for the Cincinnati regional from Ford, I ask him what color people are order for the most for 06 Mustang, He said black and new gray color , but he told me people still loves sonic blue , and orders are down for vista blue because people think is to plan looking don't have real sharp blue that everyone likes, Rep, said Ford know that , that's why Ford is asking Mazda bring the color back on the Mazda 6 in 2008 but with different name.

we hope Mazda will do it.

 

I think that Sonic Blue is still being used on other Ford vehicles in MY06. I was looking at the Focus site and it still lists Sonic Blue as an available color.--

 

I heard they are bringing it back as Sonic Purple though...

 

I doubt they will bring back Sonic Blue.

yeah. i think im with you on that one. theres not too much of a colour change with vista though. i personally prefer the sonic.

 

Sonic Blue was used for a few model years (starting in '02 I believe). I think that they will use other shades of blue before bringing back sonic

I hope they do make a change. I don't like Vista blue at all. It's amazing how it didn't look any different in the pictures.

Yep the Vista is just too bland looking... or maybe it's just that it's got more green in it... either way the sonic blue is a great color that I think they should have stayed with.

 

when i saw it at a car show it looked almost looked like a navy blue color...

Funny, I saw Vista Blue in the sunlight and thought it was ok but under the showroom lights it looked more appealing. Picture below doesn't do it justice. Looked more stunning in person. Too bad I don't drive in a show room.

 

I have a Vista Blue '06 and have gotten nothing short of rave reviews on the color. It does look better in the sunlight...I too would've preferred Sonic, but they are two different colorsand the VB still looks good too.
