GHOSTGT PHOTOSHOOT! NEW PICTURES!
GhostGT , What do you think of doing a "05 Foose Wheel PhotoShoot" right in front of foose's shop in HB. I have midterms this weeks, but I should have time next week and maybe it will stop raining. If your interested and/or anyone else with foose wheels let me know and I'll contact the foose shop and see if they'd be willing to take some pictures w/ our cars.

I'd totally be down for that! Oh man that would be awesome! Would Chip maybe be there, too?
The first time I went (around 4 in the afternoon) he was there; But i'm sure if we let him know we were planning this and all the car were going to have foose wheels. I think he would agree to be there at a given time. I'm going to start a new thread in the West Coast Forum.

We'll have to see if we can get a couple of people to go. I'll post more updates on this in the regional section. I already started a thread there.

I didn't know someone could be so proud of a car their mommy and daddy paid for. Oh well.

I'm 17 years old. Full-time college student. I've saved my money since I could count, and have worked for years. I've spent summers working, knowing some of my close friends were either driving around in their new cars, swimming somewhere, or at a party...But that didn't stop me. I worked my hiney off for a long time and I played smart with my money.
My parents got me the car; true. However, I pay for all my gas, insurance, mods, and even manage to give a few of the monthly payments once in a while.
How can I be proud of a car "mommy and daddy" paid for? What the heck is that supposed to mean? I'm no adult, but I'm not 5 years old, either. My parents were very proud of me at the end of HS graduation and decided to get me a gift, a gift I will always be thankful for.
Honestly, this has GOT to be the most immature thing someone's said to me. I'd expect this kind of remark from my BMW M3 forums, since they are all snobs and jerks...not from TMS.
Chris I agree, that his comment was not the greatest. People will always question things, especially depending on how you word what you say. For example, you just said you paid for your mods, so some people will say "great", others will say "but your car was purchased from Razzari with those mods already installed, therefore your parents paid for them. My point, don't worry about what other people say. You are very fortunate to have parents that can afford to buy you a car like that one. Can people be jealous? Sure they can. Even I can. After all, you didn't have to pay anything for your car (sorry, paying for gas and insurance doesn't count) whereas I have had to pay close to $55,000.00 CAD to get mine to look the way it does. So consider me a jealous bugger. I know some people out there are jealous of my car for different reasons. I say get over it, move on, hop in that car and go for a cruise

I guess the driving sounds like a good idea...I just hate the fact that people like Adam are stupid enough to leave a comment like that.
Thanks Adrenalin

See, just goes to show that even I, the great Adrenalin (hahaha) didn't have all the facts.

And it's funny how he's avoiding this thread right now... Get over it...I'm loved. Ever felt that?

I sure as heck would be proud of it, wouldn't you
you better be proud of a $28,000+ brand new GT that your parents bought you 1.) because it is a bad !@# car and 2.) You sure as heck don't want it to get taken away.
