I plan to stripe my Satin Silver GT to original Shelby specs, much like adrenaline and orthoguy. My dilemna is: what color. Black seems the obvious choice but I think that the combination has a little too much contrast. What does everyone think of Dark Charcoal Stripes on Silver to match the interior????
Sorry but I don't have any pics of what this combo would look like (I'm Photoshop illiterate)

Thanks for the suggestions.

Thanks. I have tried this and it is very helpful. But it is limited to specific colors.
As I stated, I am thinking about matching the interior with a Charcoal Gray. Just don't know exactly how it would look.

I think a darker color would look best, maybe a black, blue, or darker grey.

That's what I thought about white. Not enough contrast with the silver. Just MHO...

I was going to add black to mine, but now I'm going to get the Roush hood scoop.

Dark Shadow Grey Metalic would look spooooky sweeet.

I am getting DSG on my car right now as we speak. Painted of course. I'll post some pictures soon. My 05 is Mineral Grey, but I think you are right with the charcoal stripes.

Ney to black. If you go with white, it needs to be a metallic. Or wait for the Titanium Silver. The stripes are Satin-Silver on the 2004 NAIAS car.

I would go with medium to dark gray. Don't worry so much about matching the interior, go with what looks better on they outside. I tend to favor subtle stripes, so a darker version of the silver would get my vote.

Thanks for all of the input. My first choice was white but that was on Titanium Silver, of course we all know that Satin Silver is quite a bit lighter. I'm still stuck on a dark charcoal gray but I hadn't considered metallic. Is there any downside to going with a metallic stripe?

I am nuts in love with a certain silver v6 around here......Black is spectacular IMO. This car is the exact doppelganger of my original Eleanor.

I MUST KNOW WHERE SHE GOT THOSE STRIPES!

I think Charcoal Grey would look great. Thats almost black but not quite. Metallic Dark Charcoal Grey if there is such a color sounds great too. If you do it I would Love to see pics.
