a few new pics
Thanks for the love everyone!
Yes, chrome.
Everyone asks me how I keep them so nice - I use a mixture of half water.... and half Fantastic.
After I wash the car I hit them with that and bingo - perfect shine.

[although recently..... aww crap I did cave in, man.... and I have been so good...... twice as a matter of fact in the last month.....
]#1 - on a six lane running east and west right by my development, headed east to 95. later afternoon, road practically empty. Sitting in center lane at a red light loading a CD when I hear it - look behind me, BLACK super clean 99 Sn95 with chrome wheels and mean sounding exhaust. Pulls in next to me in right lane - he looks over with a glance, and somehow (probably because of the open road) catches me in the right zone. Okay, I'll play.
Just before the light turns green, from our right a person pulls out from the south side and heads east - directly in front of him in his lane - this happens as the light is actually turning green - I see it and slowly come off the line. He starts to leave hard, then backs off it when he sees the car. He is stuck behind the guy and I HANG BACK in second, giving him room to come left and get around the guy. He finally realizes I am GIVING HIM the open window and he merges into middle lane, then swings left again to let me come up on his right.
I am maybe three car lengths back and about to close the gap when suddenly he NAILS it. Okay, game on. Its wide open road so I wind out hard through second and reel him in. He is on it but in third I pull nose to nose easily and begin to pull out - fourth gear and its OVER - leave him in the dust. We get to the next light, he pulls up along side looks over and says 'Jesus, dude....'
(best reaction ever)Talked to him for a second about the year of his car, etc... - seemed cool.
He goes again when the next light goes green, launches hard (guessing he had gears as well). I GRANNY launch it (7 years out of a manual, I am STILL adjusting back - I will absolutely smoke the tires through first and second if I launch HARD), pulling second gear the back end slips left a tad then grabs and I reel him back in, and third walk by him again.
It was amusing.
#2 Two nights ago (3:00am) right by my place someone in a black late model Beemer (blacked out windows) kept 'shadowing' me and wouldn't let me fully pass them. Pulled past me at one point then seemed to slow down to stay next to me. This kept on for a few miles. At one point I gunned it to see if there was a reaction and there was to keep up. At a light (empty intersection) we roll out easy as light turns green. Beemer starts to accelerate fast, I go to match and then I hear the Beemer hit it harder. I nail it, hit second, get that momentary sideways slip then she bites, and go to WARP past Mr. Beemer.
Splash two....
Dave,
Very very nice pics!
Those are some great kill stories.
I'd love to do a good kill and tell others about it, but man nobody seems to want to race me. I don't know why.
Maybe, I'm just not seeing the signs or signals?
Or could it be something about my GT300 side stripes that intimidates other people? I don't know.
Somebody race me. Please! Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

[hey - IF it comes together, you still good for Race Rock/BBQ at Chuck's next weekend?]
Rich/Pat - thanks so much guys!
Pat - that's the Street Scene ducktail - I have self installed 3 of them and they are fairly easy to do - I like that it has the third brakelight (opposed to the CDC) and is not as TALL as the Cervini
