Thanks for the props Dan....figured there were plenty of redfire owners out there wondering how it would look, so I played guinea pig for all of us....I haven't found another redfire that had been done yet....

Would not work with strips though.

Looks good on red cars. Not so sure about other colors.

Thanks all! Yeah, no plans on striping it so I'm all set....I'll have the Steeda street wing painted the same color as the tail and installed next week.....should look decent when i finish.....no more performance mods until I have the cash for a blower so I'm all but done for a bit....time to enjoy all my hard work now! WOOHOO! I think it's banana time....

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Flat black might be the way to go. Looks great as-is though.

Looks incredible, now you might want to consider black paint or vinyl strips between the individual bars of the tail lamps.

I think that the blackout taillight kit I just saw would look good with the blackpanel...is that vinyl or paint for 149 dollars

Took it to a bodyshop to have it painted.....Yeah, the tail light strips might look cool with that black vinyl over them but I don;t want to get pulled over because of it.......saw some stipulation about it being for shows or offroad use only etc....My steeda street wing is on order and I'm having it painted the same gloss black....hoping that between the new wing, muffler tips, and the blackout that it will really set off the rear end.....back of the car is kinda dull from the factory in my opinion....the nose and sides are sweet but the rear needed something i thought...I should have the wing in next week so I'll throw up some pics of the finished product then......thanks for all the props guys....i appreciate it as I wasn't sure how it was gonna turn out!!!! :-)

Looks good - breaks up the "blandness" of the rear end very nicely. I think it would look good on the silver and white stangs too. Surprised the aftermarket hasn't come up with the plastic rear "grille" cover like the earlier stangs had.....

Doesn't look bad....I debated between the two but figured the flat black would look bad if it got and kinds of scratches or dirt....The gloss finish seems easier to keep looking good and waxed up and clean.....both beat the plain factory look w/o a doubt!
