Both of you have very good points! I've saved enough to put roughly 780 at the rear wheels. The only downside is, the 4.6 would have to be totally reworked to safely support that power. That's where the Cobra's forged internals come into play lol I mean, let's be honest. Rods and Pistons aren't all that cheap :0

 

I dunno the terminators are about one of the sexiest mustangs ever made

 

Put a blower on your current car and push 450 or so safely to the rear tires. It's hard to enjoy much more than that on the street anyway. The cobra engine is awesome no doubt and has a ton of potential but watch the IRS if you want to make crazy power.

 

I wouldn't yours has some style, the 04 looks like it fell in a vat of black paint...

What do you value your 07 at if you sold it?

 

I had a 517 rwhp GTO, and even with that much power, I felt like I needed more. My main goal is to keep up or even beat most Z06's though, so I don't think 450 would cut it lol.

 

Being realistic about it, I'd probably take around 15. Maybe 14. It has 76,xxx miles, so she's getting up there lol. And I've owned it since 27,472. A lot of highway travel to and from college

 

The only thing stopping me from trading it in on the spot is the fact that my friend has a 429ci out of a Gran Torino that we played around with. Talked about dropping it in the S197, make some raw, naturally aspirated horsepower

Wow that would not even be a decision for me. I love my 07 but would give it up in a heartbeat for a cobra. I've searched for years for an unmolested cobra for a decent price and can not seem to find one down here in the deep south...
