Actually, the hoods pins are the CDC appearance pins....(adhesive), and the stripes are vinyl......

Nice 555! Now you "need" the GT500 Rear Clip.

I'm thinking about it, but since the prices have gone up, it might just be better to get the 3d carbon boy ricer rear bumper, it looks pretty much the same.

Oh NO !!!! Read my lips - lol - no Ricer Bumper Covers!

I help in the customization and pimping of Client's Rides. Everything from all out Re-Style and Paint to Performance Mods. I had one Client spend as much on his loaded out GT as he did the Cost of the Car!

These type Bumper Covers are horrible and you will regret trying to have saved the few hundred of dollars. The Material of construction and the method of manufacture does not compare to the OEM work of Roush, SVT and Ford. Notwithstanding the poor paint presentation and match to the surrounding body.

My recommendation is to wait for what you really want and research what is best. I have had a few Clients run the GT500 Rear Clip on their 05+ and after a course of months now, have had no problems.

Use a Body Shop I-CAR Certified and part of the Certified Network of National Body Shops.

Besides, from what I hear the "Boy Racer" rear bumper won't work w/out the rest of the body kit, considering the bumper is matched to the wider fender flares, which go with the specific side skirts etc.

Before the GT500 rear bumper came available I was thinking of doing the same thing, but to no avail!!

On a side note, how much did it cost to have the decklid emblem shaved and painted? If you don't mind me asking...

Well I had my spoiler holes done at the same time and it came out to $750 total for everything to be shaved (7 holes all together) and painted.

Sandro / Mustangator in Switzerland:

I think your car looks fabulous, personally, as it is, based on your photos. I definitely would not "rice it up" with questionable mods just to look different. I think the new Mustang is gorgeous as it is. Your wheels and tires? I love the combination of Mineral Grey and the original Bullitt wheels. For 2007, they changed the colour of the wheels (at least in Canada) to what I think is a cheap-looking silver. Mineral Grey 05 Mustangs and the original-equipment Bullitt wheels (that particular combination) will turn out to be a magical combination as history looks back, I am convinced.

I have made a few small modifications (see my signature) only because it is easy to do from Canada, but I do not think you need to change the outer appearance of the car. You should probably get a locking gas cap because of anti-American feeling around the world because of the war in Iraq (not because of anything else against Americans).

The Pony centre caps for the wheels would be easy to carry back home on a flight. The car cover from Ford comes in a rectangular box about a metre long that you could check as baggage. It is not heavy. However, you may have to order these in advance. The Webelectric sequential turn signals are great and could be air-freighted to you at low cost because the box they come in is tough and small. Installation is easy, trust me.

Realistically, you may not be able to do more than go to any Walmart store and buy factory Motorcraft FL-820S oil filters (they are so cheap there) and pick up waxes and polishes. Go to any Ford dealer to check what they have in their parts department and pick up the free dealer brochure on Mustangs. Well worth while.

Great to hear from you on this site. I salute you for driving a Mustang GT in Europe. You got *****!

Craig
