fading paint...?
guys, maybe someone can help here. my mother has a LL 2005 v6 conv which to our knowledge has not been wrecked or any body damage but shows signs of the front fender being re-painted. she bought it used but in recent months has noticed that the passenger side door and quarter panels seems "lighter" than the rest of the car. i cannot find any signs of repaint on these except for the front piece mentioned above. has anyone seen any signs of fading with this paint? it sits on her carport but the driver side is the side that is exposed to the sun most of the time. the passenger side is facing the house. any suggestions as to why or what i should check next to see if it has been repainted?

My 06 LL has unfortunately been an outside car since new 5 years ago.
I do believe that it has been faded, but only a bit. It is very subjective, but it seems that maybe some of the gold tint in the green has been lost.
This is in the bright California Delta sun.
I should wax it more, as I can only seem to get to it every 3 months or so.
Not going to worry about it, at least the clear coat hasn't self-destructed like my 94 T-Bird. Had to have the hood, top and trunk lid repainted at the 4 year mark because the clear-coat was turning ito chalk.
