What's it look like on a Black Stang???
Hey guys I'm trying to start a thread where we post pics of any appearance mods we do. I think it will be a helpful thread when trying to decide on a new mod. Always helps to see the mod on a car your color. Since I already have links to pics in my sig for each mod I think it would be pointless for me to do so. For the rest of you that don't have active sigs please post pics of your mods. If you do have a sig like mine the just make a post saying hi. Hopefully turns into a pretty active thread.

OK couldn't resist so here's a pic showing off all my exterior mods. Mods visible are: CDC classic chin spoiler, CDC shaker scoop w/281 badges, tinted turnsigal lights and side marker, Pony emblems, MWAG Mirror inserts, painted black brake calipers, cross drilled and slotted brake rotors, 20% window tint, CDC Ducktail, Flowmaster A/T axlebacks and UPR antenna delete (spray painted black).

Thanks. I got it from my local Advance Auto parts. It is made by APC, so anyplace that can order APC parts should be able to get it. the part number is listed in their catalog, or on their website. There were also some on ebay at one point, but I haven't looked in a while to see.
Very easy install: Just unclip the bulb from the harness, pop out the third brake light (there are little "clips" that you just push out from the inside to do this), and then reattach new LED into harness and re-insert brake light. Took all of about 3 minutes in 95 degree heat index at 8:00 pm (I hate Mid-Atlantic humidity).
Lit, it looks awesome. It matches the taillights in terms of "effect." So, since they are real LED's, it makes the taillights seem like real LED's (instead of one bulb that scatters the light)
BTW, I saw in another thread that you had some H13 silverstars in your drawer. Want to hook a fellow black convertible mustanger up with them?

You should have said something to me earlier about my foglight Silverstars! You could have had them for nothing.
I ended up giving them to my friend for install on his "ricer" Civic. I think he was going to try and wedge them in to his driving lights, who knows... LOL...

Glad I could help the cause Let me know what you think of it, once it is installed
I think the Third brake light really changes how the back end looks. Also, if you closely at my pic, you will see a lower bumper insert. Both, in conjuction with eachother, really provide a nice look for the rear IMO.
BTW, I need headlight Silverstars. I already have the fogs.

Better pics of the C-stripe.
